The Blue Edition

It's the last journal! I can't actually believe we're on the last journal, this project has flown by! My last journal was Karen's lovely blue book. I never realised until I embarked on old blue, but I don't actually use blue that much, so I found it tougher than I thought.

I would love to have another go this, I think a green journal is calling my name.

The Gold Edition

It's GOLD!!!!!! it's the second to last journal and I can't believe we have almost finished our amazing journal circle. It's amazing to see all these journals that are now packed with everyone's creations.
I have finally got my hands on Vanessa's gold journal!
I have been wanting to use this image of this cat for so long and he's gold right?

As I have with every journal, here is my gold related lyric...not the obvious choice for gold, hello Spandau ballet....

Right at the beginning of this project Vanessa made one request of me in this journal and it was to draw some lips on this page. Obviously I had to do it!

Earlier in the journal I noticed Katie added Captain Janeaway to the journal, so I decided I couldn't let this journal not have my own homage to Kate Mulgrew in the form of Red from Orange is the new black. She is easily one of my favourite characters!

The White Edition

It's the time again for a bit of Color Chaos, this month I had the heavenly white journal. Now that we're coming to the end of this project the journals are looking more and more full and bursting with lots of amazing pages.  I had so many big plans for this journal, but I just couldn't find the time to get it done. The pages I did get a chance to do were so much fun though.

The Red Edition

This month I had the lovely Sharon's red journal, which is so beautiful! We're at the stage in this project, where the books are taking shape and lots of wonderful pages have been added. As I filled in my pages, I have a bit nervous thinking, "Please don't ruin this journal!"

I just couldn't not have some of my signature red candy skulls in this book!

Out of all the pages I did, this one below was my absolute favourite

I found a great magazine article of red lipstick so had to cut the lips out and match them to Daniel Merriweather's 'Red'

More lips and more red!

This was my little piece of my lyric project and I know Sharon love's Stevie Nicks. I did something silly though and didn't realised the paint hadn't dried and the pages got stuck together. I only realised this when I was scanning ready to post....so I didn't even have any red paint on hand to correct it!

After my nerves on this one I really enjoyed doing it and was really happy with my contribution to this journal. I now have Patricia's white journal in my possession which I CANNOT wait to get cracking on.

The Black Edition

It's time for Color Chaos once again! This it's Julia's black journal of death! I especially liked this journal as it was all things black and I could get back to my first love being creepy! I started with a little bit of grrl power.

Then moved on to animal testing, Julia and I are both into cruelty free brands so this was a perfect addition to the black book.

Moving on to the spooky stuff, I slightly copied this from Pinterest as I just loved it.

I have been watching the Mighty Boosh again and while I was doing the black book the episode about Vince and Howard becoming goths came on....and when they spoke about Goth Juice hair spray, I thought up my own advertising brand!

Lastly a as Julia is the queen of magazines, I thought she would appreciate this!

The Pink Edition

It's time to revisit color chaos, the ultimate travelling journal experience. We all got very worried as it took a while for Katie's lovely pink journal to get to me. It finally did though and I had so much fun filling some of the pages.

If you follow me on Instagram you'll know that I have embarked on a year long lyric project- Katie's book got number 47 which obviously had to be Aerosmith's song 'Pink' as if there was any other to be used!

I just couldn't get the light for this picture- but I couldn't not include this cutting as Grimes looks all inter-galactic.

Color Chaos- The Lilac edition

Welcome to Color Chaos.....7 colors, 7 journals and 7 creative ladies to fill them. Color chaos was dreamt up a little before christmas where it was decided to do travelling journals but with an edge, each person picks a colour and that is what that is the theme the journal would be based around. So every month I will do a Color Chaos post about whatever colour journal I have received and what I have contributed. I'm not going to give away anyone else's colour right now, but as you will see before I decided on lilac...or any shade of purple really. I decided that everyone else that got my journal could do as little or as much as they wanted to it, no pressure whatever anyone has time to do. There is also some very sparse pages with random purple bits attached for anyone to do what they wish to! My journal has a bit of everything in, there is no theme apart from the colour, anything I was feeling I added. I can't wait to see what happens to my journal over the next couple of months.
